In April we will be continuing Pigeonholes of Memory: The Life and Times of Dr John Mackenzie - Chapters 11 & 12. This book contains the fascinating manuscript memories of Dr John Mackenzie (1803-1886) written when, so we are told, the doctor was 79 years old!

Saturday 13th June 2026, 1000-1230
Venue: Dingwall Museum. Limited numbers in each session due to space. Booking for individual sessions to enquiries@dingwallmuseum.com. Free, although donations welcome.
There was plenty going on in Dingwall & surrounding area well before 800 years ago!
Come find out about what was happening in prehistory and early medieval times in the area. Handle replica and real objects from these times.

Driven by our commitment to engage with our communities, this is one of several outreach meetings over the year. We bring some of the museum's artefacts relating to the village, and encourage members of the community to bring their objects, photos and memories
